Our business customer contracts are set up into three main parts to make it easy for you to understand. The first part of your contract is the General Terms that are general to all of Business’ standard products.

These General Terms apply to your contract unless we say otherwise in the entry below for your service on this website or in your other contract documents; or we provide you with a different set of standard terms.

Compliance Obligations and Acceptable Use Policy

This BT Business Acceptable Use Policy applies to all BT products that you use for business and forms part of your contract with us unless specifically stated otherwise in the contract.

Please note that supplementary terms are set out in the BT Price List and they may form part of the contract for the relevant product or service.

Any amendments to the BT Price List will be published in the BT Price List.

Notification to Ofcom

You can also view any new or amended terms for regulated products and services that have been notified to Ofcom.
 

Changes to terms

  • We're updating some of our terms and conditions from 1 June 2022 due to new Ofcom regulations designed to improve your rights where we make changes to your service.

    We're updating the BT General Terms and the following product terms:  BT Business Broadband, Calls and lines, BT Cloud Phone, BT Cloud Work, BT Cloud Voice Express, BT Business Mobile and BT One Phone.  The updated terms will be published below on 1 June.

    We've summarised the key changes on the following page, where you can also find a copy of the clause that will be incorporate into our legacy terms for the products listed above.

    Non-material changes to Purchased Equipment terms effective from 1st January 2021 can be found here.

    BT Cloud Phone and Cloud Work terms: End User Licence Terms (“EULA”) have been added as an Annex to the BT Cloud Phone and Cloud Work Schedules to the General Terms and apply to all new and existing customers of these services.  In order to use the BT Cloud Phone Service or Cloud Work Service customers must comply with the EULA. The EULA constitutes a binding agreement between RingCentral UK Limited (or its designated Affiliate) and you. The RingCentral EULA for BT Cloud Phone and for Cloud Work can be found here.

The legal entity remains the same with the same company number (01800000).
