I want to generate revenue when my customers call. Do you have a number for that?
With 0971 and 09 numbers, you can generate revenue on every call. Premium-rate 09 numbers are charged to customers at a higher rate than a standard call, giving you a better return. With 0871 numbers, you can choose what the split is between how much you pay per minute and how much your customer pays.
I’m just starting my business and don’t want to pay for call charges. Can I do that?
Yes, by choosing an 0844 number (charged to the caller at 5p per minute) or an 0871 number (charged to the caller at 6p per minute ex VAT), you won't incur any call charges.
Do you have a number I can advertise in other countries?
Yes – just choose one of our International and Universal Freefone numbers.
Do I need another line to have one of these business numbers?
No, you don’t need another BT line to get a telemarketing number. The number you choose is fixed, meaning that even if your business moves, your number will still remain the same and your customers can always reach you.
I don’t want to receive all calls in one department. Can I route some calls elsewhere?
Once you’ve chosen your BT business number, you can add on as many call routing services as you want. You can choose to route calls to different locations depending on the time of day, or divert calls to another place if your main location is too busy.
How many services can I add to my BT number?
You can add as many services as you need to your BT number. The cost per additional service depends on how many calls your business receives per year.
