To help customers complete their migration before the PSTN switch-off on 31 January 2027, we're no longer accepting new WLR Legacy Survey orders. New WLR Bulk Migration orders will also close on 31 October 2026.

These changes apply to WLR services only. Other services, including 2G migration support, remain available.

Soft Cease FAQs

You can choose a reinstatement period of 1 month.

If the service isn’t reinstated within this timeframe, the circuit will be fully ceased.

Yes, you can reinstate your line at any time during the Soft Cease period.

To do this, please contact your Project Manager or Service Team. 

Reinstatement usually takes up to 24 hours (1 business day). 

Yes, you can choose to fully cease your circuit at any time.

Please speak to your dedicated project management to discuss the process. 

Legacy Surveys FAQs

Each survey is bespoke and priced according to your specific requirements and the size of your legacy estate.

Please contact your account manager to request a quote. 

Timeframes can vary depending on several factors, including the size of your legacy estate and the complexity of your requirements.

Your dedicated project manager will provide an accurate timeline once we’ve received the necessary information. 

Bulk Migration FAQs

It is a one-off charge of £30.00 Ex. VAT per circuit.

The timeframe depends on the number of services being moved and the complexity of your setup.

Your account manager will work with you to agree a migration schedule that meets your business needs.

Billing FAQs

If you're billed directly (outside of a managed service agreement), the charge will appear as Professional Services on your invoice. 

If you’re on a monthly or annual managed service plan, the cost is handled internally by your managed service team, so it won’t appear on your bill.

We’re saying goodbye to 2G

All UK mobile operators have committed to retiring their 2G networks between now and 2033. This supports the UK Government’s plans to move towards newer, more reliable, and secure 4G, 5G and IoT technologies.
