Active Intelligence gives insights into mobility patterns for better decision-making in sectors like transport, retail, stadiums and real estate planning. For example, a transport operator can use these insights to improve train schedules by understanding network usage. Or if you're opening a shop, demographic summaries combined with movement patterns can help you choose the best location for footfall.

Our team receives device movement data from over 24 million mobile devices on the EE network, processing 25 billion daily events. We expand the data to represent the entire UK population, ensuring anonymity and aggregation.  This scaled data gives us invaluable insights into the crowd movements of groups of people across the UK, helping solve real-world problems.

We scale our data to the UK population, by comparing the number of home locations in a region to secondary data concerning the population and demography of these regions.

We carry out robust testing to make sure our data is accurate to local and national industry datasets. We share a full methodology report detailing our validation and verification processes on all our deliverables, giving you the confidence you need in the data.

We can grant you access to data, and licence data to you, in a number of different ways to suit your business needs.
There’s an on-demand portal, – where you can access the datasets as and when you need them, or you can raise a specific request and we can deliver the appropriate insights.
