Cloud calls are telephone calls that go through a third-party cloud host.

What is the difference between VoIP and cloud?

With VoIP, or voice over internet protocol, your calls go through your broadband connection. VoIP calling allows your business to make as many calls as you like using your broadband and eliminates the need for multiple telephone lines.

Cloud phone systems are an ‘off premises’ solution, which means that they don’t need any hardware on site to control your calls. You access your cloud phone system using a broadband connection, eliminating the upkeep and maintenance costs of a PBX, or private branch exchange.
