A Dragon’s Den-style competition to showcase your ideas for creating employment opportunities, promoting rehabilitation, and supporting the reintegration of individuals back into society.
If you’re a Start-Up, Entrepreneur, SME, VCSE, or other organisation (including partnerships and charities) and have ideas that shape the future. This is your chance to make a real difference and have your solutions recognised.
Win a £25,000 cash prize
The winning organisation, chosen by BT, will win a cash prize of £25,000 towards their idea. This will not be given in one lump sum, unless a detailed explanation is provided as to why it will be required in on lump sum.
Potential onboarding as a BT supplier
The winner may be offered the opportunity to onboard as a BT supplier, subject to BT’s standard supplier due diligence and onboarding process.

Competition details
You can register your interest using the form on this page. You must be over 18 to enter and must have a legally registered company and be able to operate within the UK.
You’ll need to submit a business proposal that highlights services to support offender rehabilitation. This can be either written documentation or video but must include a plan on how you would use the cash prize to support your initiative.
You must use the official application form provided by BT.
All entries must be received by 13th February 2026. Late entries will not be considered.
You may need to provide additional information or clarification when requested during the selection process.

Must be over 18
Uk resident/citizen
Must be a registered company with Companies House
Not be an existing contractor/supplier of BT group
How to enter
Submit a concise business proposal in one or more of the following formats:
Video: Maximum 5 minutes
Presentation: Up to 10 slides
Document: Word file, size 12 font, 2500 maximum word count
Follow all instructions provided in official media releases and digital promotions.
The winning organisation will be selected by the BT and awarded a cash prize of £25,000. (Cash prize will not be awarded in one lump sum. If this is a requirement, a detailed explanation is provided as to why it will be required in on lump sum).
Evidence of expenditure will need to be provided prior to the second lump sum payment.
Cash prize will be paid into business bank account registered to the organisation (via faster payments, BACS or CHAPS.)
Winner Selection
The competition will follow a Dragons’ Den–style format and consist of two selection stages. The first stage will shortlist the top ten participants, and the final stage will determine the top three runner-ups.
The judges will then select one overall winner, who will be announced at the awards ceremony, along with the runner-ups in ranked order.
Finalists must be available to attend the event in person.
Prize Claim Process and Taxes
BT reserves the right to verify the winner’s identity, eligibility, and compliance with these Terms and Conditions before awarding the prize. Proof of identity, age, and address may be required, this means, the 3 runner-ups will need to provide proof of identity/business identity to claim the prize.
The prize fund may be treated as business income and could be subject to taxation. It is the responsibility of the winning business to seek professional advice and manage any tax obligations with their accountant.
Data and privacy
All personal data will be processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act. Data will be used solely for the purposes of administering the competition and related communications.

Business information (e.g., company name, registration number) is not personal data and is not protected under the Act but will be handled responsibly and only for competition purposes.
Legal Disclaimers
Prize Acceptance: Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable. Winners are responsible for any taxes or other liabilities associated with the prize.
Judging Decisions: All decisions by the judges are final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome.
Use of Prize Money: The prize funds must be used in accordance with the proposal submitted on entry and for legitimate business purposes. The winner will be required to provide evidence of their use when requested by BT
Amendment: BT may alter, suspend, or cancel the competition at its discretion.
Intellectual Property: Entrants retain ownership of their intellectual property.
By entering, participants grant BT and Justice Digital permission to reference their proposals in promotional materials and reports related to the competition.
