We can help by first examining the exisiting Cisco network infrastructure in your workplace. By evaluating the existing LAN, Wi-Fi, Wireless set up, we can then recommend the appropriate technical actions and solutions you need to get started to meaure occupancy within your workplaces. We may need to perform Wi-Fi surveys or suggest appropriate infrastructure ( e.g. Wireless First, Wi-Fi 7 etc) to help you. Depending on your requirements, we can support you on appropriate network designs and licenses that enable occupancy measure and management. Leveraging the basic infrastructure and enabling Spaces connectivity to map your workplaces will then start you towards see how your workplaces are being utilised. The first step is to see how we can use your existing infrastructure and then offer further options to build upon and develop maturity of your solution. It is outcome based driven by your use cases.
Within Spaces you can click on the "Right Now" module and select the building and floor you want. This will immediately display the occupancy count detected.
By clicking on the "Detect & Locate" (with Advantange Spaces licenses) you can select specific building floors to see a map layout of the occupancy heat map in real time. Space Manager is another module that allows you to view the changing occupancy over the last 24 hour period to trends. These modules enable a real-time snapshot of occupancy.
For more details, Spaces providesin-built standard occupancy reports in various categories that can be accessed via the Location Analytics menu option. Within this menu, the Custom Reports option also allows some personalised reports to be designed and run.
