BT Business Broadband: Keeping Ransom Spares Connected

Ransom Spares initially considered a wide range of broadband suppliers, with BT Business Broadband ultimately selected due to offering the best speeds and coverage. As a business that heavily relies on e-commerce, prioritising a powerful internet connection was a must, making BT Business Broadband an ideal solution. Additional hubs were also provided by BT to ensure that the entirety of each warehouse was covered so warehouse staff didn’t have to worry about any drops in connection when fulfilling orders.
The BT Business broadband line had been seamlessly operating for a number of years without any downtime. However, an alternative provider’s hub, providing coverage in one of the warehouses through the BT Broadband connection, caused major issues when the hub failed.
With a crucial warehouse left without an internet connection, Ransom Spares were faced with an inability to pack and distribute orders. Reliant on many orders being sent out daily, this loss of connectivity had the potential to severely disrupt operations. To continue running as efficiently as possible, Ransom Spares immediately prioritised getting their business back online.
With the existing broadband connection supplied by BT, Ransom Spares got in touch with our support team who provided a new BT hub with next day delivery to get the warehouse back up and running quickly. In the meantime, their EE backup SIM stepped up to ensure that the business was able to stay online in the short-term.
With BT Business broadband now being delivered through BT hubs throughout the warehouses, Ransom Spares have since suffered zero downtime, allowing them to continue to deliver a seamless service for customers without impact to business operations.
