Thomas Platt is excited. ‘Telecoms is a fast-paced, evolving market, an exciting business to be involved in. Especially when the solutions we sell make a real difference to a customer’s business’, he says.
After a career in BT dealing with phone systems, IT, data solutions, calls, lines and mobiles, Thomas set up SME Digital Solutions in 2002, along with another ex-BT staffer, Roy McPhail. They were joined a couple of years later by Ann Platt, after 21 years in financial services working as an Independent Financial Advisor.
‘We provide specialist advice in switch and phone systems, data and IT, mobile, calls and lines, and the use of ICT in the Education sector’, explained Roy.
Based in Preston, the team has excellent road, rail, and air links to the North West and Cumbria. Customers are also welcome to visit the Customer Showcase at the company’s flagship office, where they can see the wide range of BT products and services that can help boost their business.
