Lot 1: Hardware and Software and Associated Services
Combines both hardware, software and services through a single lot covering all the hardware, software and services listed in lots 2 and 3.
Lot 2: Hardware
Provision of hardware products and services only.
Includes:
- End user devices such as laptops, desktops, mobiles, and tablets.
- Device as a service (for example, outsourcing hardware and device management).
- Infrastructure as a service (for example, storage and networking resource on a pay as you use type basis).
- Infrastructure hardware such as servers, data centres, hubs, routers, and switches.
- Consumables such as cabling, connectors, data storage and memory sticks.
- Peripheral equipment such as keyboards, mouse, screens and monitors.
- Other technology hardware relating to audio visual, radio, sensors, networking and security.
Lot 3: Software
Provision of software products and services only.
Includes:
- Commercial off the shelf (COTS) software which is commercially ready-made and available for sale, ‘as a service’, lease, or licence and is generally sourced from resellers (for example, Microsoft, VMware, Google, Oracle, ServiceNow, antivirus software and Adobe).
- Business software and productivity (such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Google Docs) or resource management software (such as Smartsheet project).
- Data and analytics.
- Audio visual.
- Security such as antivirus software and firewalls.
- Cloud products including software as a service (SaaS) or cloud provider hosted applications, platform as a service (PaaS) and cloud service models.
Lot 4: Information Assured Technology
Combines both hardware, software and services from lots 2 and 3 through a single lot but only from suppliers that are list X accredited with Developed Vetting (DV) cleared resources.
Lot 5: Health and Social Care Technology
Provision of hardware, software and services designed for the health and social care sector.
Includes:
- Assistive technologies and products such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice recognition and more.
- Remote monitoring products and systems, which allow health and/or social care workers to monitor individuals outside the traditional care setting using digital medical devices.
- Laptop trolleys.
- Screen mounts.
- Virtual reality products and services such as sensory accessories, headsets, movement trackers and systems.
Lot 6: Education Technology
Combines hardware, software and services through a single lot covering all the hardware, software and services listed in lots 2 and 3 for the education sector.
Lot 8: Technology Catalogue
Allows customers to buy hardware, software and services directly through an online CCS portal for low value and low complexity requirements.
