Tide cashback

Terms and Conditions:

  1. Tide Platform Ltd (“Tide”) offers £100 cashback (“Rewards”) to all applicants who meet the Eligibility criteria outlined in clause 2 below (the “Offer”). The Offer is subject to these terms and conditions (“Terms”).

  2. Eligibility criteria:
    1. Complete the sign-up process using the Promo Code (as defined below in clause 3).

    2. Download the Tide app and follow the steps to complete (“KYC”) checks and successfully open an account. Tide reserves its right to open a Tide Account for you only after you have passed our KYC checks as per the Tide Terms.

    3. Successfully spend minimum £100 on your Tide card within 30 days of opening the account, excluding any disputes and recharges.

    4. Hold an active Tide membership and be compliant with all applicable standard terms and conditions for Tide accounts (“Tide Terms”) until receiving the relevant Reward under this Offer pursuant to clause 5.2) below.
  3. The applicant is required to enter the promo code BTOFFER (“Promo Code”); 
    1. While signing up for a Tide business bank account on https://web.tide.co/sign-up/, or
    2. While signing up via the app, or
    3. Retrospectively, the Promo Code can be applied within the app’s ‘More menu’ within 1 week of opening their account, or
    4. By letting us know through the in-app chat within 1 week of opening their account.
  4. Rewards
    1. For each applicant who has successfully opened a Tide account by meeting the Eligibility criteria under clause 2.1), 2.2), 2.3) and 2.4), a £100 Reward will be applied to the new member’s account;
    2. It can take up to 6-8 weeks after you have met the Eligibility criteria outlined in clause 2 for the steps under the Eligibility criteria to be validated and the relevant Rewards to be transferred to your new account.
  5. Other
    1. This Offer applies only to new Tide members who are opening a Tide account for the first time. No existing Tide members will be eligible for this Offer.
    2. Participation in this Offer is restricted to one (1) per Tide account.
    3. We encourage participants to check these Terms regularly as we reserve the right to amend the Terms and to withdraw referral schemes, competitions and promotions at any time. Your continued use of our services shall constitute your acceptance of any such amendments.
    4. An applicant must use the Offer as intended by Tide and must not use the Promo Code as a means to generate income or business.
    5. We reserve the right to reverse any cashback Reward you receive during this Offer if (i) the Reward was earned fraudulently, or (ii) it is found that you have breached the Terms or the Tide Terms in relation to holding a Tide account.
    6. If we have reasonable grounds to believe that you have engaged in any fraud or material abuse of this Offer (such as for example attempting to deliberately mislead Tide Member Support to gain the Reward) we may in our sole discretion take any actions we see fit in the circumstances.
    7. This Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other Tide offer or promotion in relation to the opening of a new Tide account.
FSB membership

This promotion is provided by the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB). Until 11.59pm on the 31/12/2023, save 15% discount on the first year’s membership by quoting code BT15. Full rates payable for future years membership. Code must be quoted during the joining process.

Square contactless card reader

This offer is only available for BT Business customers who have never previously held an account with Square. It allows offer participants to apply for a free Square card reader currently worth £19 + VAT as of 1/06/21 from Square.

If eligible and subject to Square's own terms and conditions, free processing will be applied to the first £1,000 of card transactions. There will be a processing fee per transaction after that in accordance with Square’s Fee Schedule.

Customers must create a new account with Square and sign up to Square’s terms of service to apply for this offer.

Offer participants must meet any eligibility criteria that Square may have for their account.

No customer data is shared between Square and BT.

Once the account is created with Square, any customer care queries are directly handled by Square.

Square provides services in the UK via a number of legal entities. The free card reader is provided by Squareup (UK) Limited, the payment processing services are provided by Squareup Europe Limited and the customer care assistance is provided by Squareup International Limited. All three of these legal entities are part of the same Group company and this separation in no way impacts the level of service provided to offer participants.
