Display your number on someone else's BT Cloud Voice call (Shared Call Appearance)
Shared call appearance, lets your Users have five to 20* Devices that all display your primary line number for inbound and outbound calls. This saves you having to share multiple phone numbers with your customers, making it easier for them. Plus it stops them knowing where you are when you make or receive calls.
*Support for twenty devices is only available for the collaborate license, otherwise the default is five.
How to set up Shared call appearance?
- Sign in to the BT Cloud Voice Business Portal.
- From the dashboard select Users (across the top).
- Search for the user and click the settings icon.
- Select Features on the left.
- In the Shared call appearance tile, click the settings icon.
- Now review the options below to set up what you need.
- Click Save when you’re finished.
App click-to-dial calls
Switch ‘on’ or ‘off’ by ticking or unticking the box. If it’s ‘on’, all your users Devices will ring when they make a call from an application, so they can pick up one of these devices to complete the call.
Moving calls
Switch ‘on’ or ‘off’ by ticking or unticking the box. If it’s ‘on’, your users can transfer active calls between other supported shared call appearance Devices or by dialing the correct Feature Access Code *11.
Add a Device
Click the Add Devices button to add a new shared call appearance device. Please note the User must have a Primary device set-up, as this feature uses those details to make and receive calls. If the User doesn’t have one, then this can be set up from the Users Profile link on the sidebar menu. The primary device is the one that will appear on the Users dashboard page
Further Information
If you have the Shared call appearance setting switched on, and an administrator hasn’t changed the codes, you can transfer calls between your Shared call appearance Devices by dialing *11 on the Device you wish the call moved to.
Where you’re using multiple Devices, you can also choose to deactivate ringing on any of the devices by dialing *12, and to reactivate by dialing *13, again if an administrator hasn’t changed these.
