MiCloud COR – what is it and how can I change it?

Class of Restriction (COR), sometimes known as dialling privileges, determines which numbers a user can dial. There are seven COR categories, which are broken down as follows:

  • COR 10 – internal only
  • COR 1 – internal and emergency
  • COR 2 – internal, emergency, free phone, local and national
  • COR 3 – internal, emergency, free phone, local, national and mobile
  • COR 4 – internal, emergency, free phone, local, national, mobile and high rate (087 numbers)
  • COR 5 – internal, emergency, free phone, local, national, mobile, high rate and international
  • COR 6 – internal, emergency, free phone, local, national, mobile, high rate, international and premium (090 numbers)

Each user can be allocated with a COR aligning to the function of their role.

Please note: if you’re a standard user, you can’t change your own COR. Any changes must be made by your site administrator. If you have administrator privileges, you can amend the COR of any user by following these steps:

  • Log in to the Customer Portal using the URL, username and password your company was issued within the series of welcome emails
  • When the home page opens, select the Users tab
  • Choose the user whose COR you need to update, then select Service Programming
  • You can now assign the user with a new COR
