I have Smart Divert. How do I divert my calls?

With Smart Divert you can remotely divert incoming calls to most contact numbers – so callers can always get through to you. Want Smart Divert? Go to our sales page.

Diverting calls remotely

To divert calls remotely using Smart Divert here’s what you need to do:

  1. Dial the relevant access number and wait for the dial tone.
  2. Press * and enter the remote divert code you want to use.
  3. Press * and enter your PIN.
  4. Press * and enter your full phone number.
  5. Press * enter the phone number you want to divert to, then press #
  6. Press #

Cancelling call divert remotely

To cancel call divert remotely with Smart Divert:

  1. Dial the relevant access number and wait for a dial tone.
  2. Press # and enter the remote divert code.
  3. Press * and enter your PIN.
  4. Press * and enter your full phone number, then press #

Checking call divert is on remotely

To check call divert is on remotely using Smart Divert just:

  1. Dial the access number and wait for the dial tone.
  2. Hold down * and press #.
  3. Type the remote divert code and press *
  4. Press * and enter your PIN.
  5. Enter your full phone number and press #

Smart Divert costs

With Smart Divert, calls made to the access number (when using the service remotely) are charged at our standard dialling rates.

There's a 3-month minimum term for Smart Divert and for security purposes you're allocated a secure PIN number to stop unauthorised usage.
