Diverting calls remotely
To divert calls remotely using Smart Divert here’s what you need to do:
- Dial the relevant access number and wait for the dial tone.
- Press * and enter the remote divert code you want to use.
- Press * and enter your PIN.
- Press * and enter your full phone number.
- Press * enter the phone number you want to divert to, then press #
- Press #
Cancelling call divert remotely
To cancel call divert remotely with Smart Divert:
- Dial the relevant access number and wait for a dial tone.
- Press # and enter the remote divert code.
- Press * and enter your PIN.
- Press * and enter your full phone number, then press #
Checking call divert is on remotely
To check call divert is on remotely using Smart Divert just:
- Dial the access number and wait for the dial tone.
- Hold down * and press #.
- Type the remote divert code and press *
- Press * and enter your PIN.
- Enter your full phone number and press #
Smart Divert costs
With Smart Divert, calls made to the access number (when using the service remotely) are charged at our standard dialling rates.
There's a 3-month minimum term for Smart Divert and for security purposes you're allocated a secure PIN number to stop unauthorised usage.
