Help updating your website

If you ordered your website after 24 April 2014, you can update your website yourself, even if BT built and designed it for you.

To do so:

  1. Go to and sign in using your BT ID.
  2. Select My Apps and launch your Web Starter or Web Manager by clicking the relevant app tile.
  3. From here you can edit your website and find hints, tips and useful videos showing you how to update your website.

If you have problems logging in, accessing, or don't know your BT ID, please follow the forgotten password link or contact our team.

Or alternatively you can:

  1. Go to your website and add /administrator at the end of the URL.
  2. Next, when prompted, log in with the details your website designer sent you.

Changing the design of your website

If you ordered your website on or before 24 April 2014 and aren’t happy with the design of your website, please contact us so that we can fix this as soon as possible.

As part of our Web Manager package, you'll receive a free redesign every two years. If you're not happy with your original design, it's important that you provide as much feedback as possible to your designer so that we can get the design right before it's made live.

Or if you’d like to change the design of your website yourself, the updates editor lets you change the design of your website easily, as it's template based.

Login to your BT Business Apps account and launch your website (by selecting the tile in My Apps).

The editor includes help and guidance on changing the layouts, colours, and templates for your website.
