Useful keyboard shortcuts in Operator Connect

Using an external keyboard with keyboard shortcuts can help you work more efficiently while using Operator Connect. It can also support people with mobility or vision impairments, offering an alternative to using a mouse or touchscreen.

This article lists the most common keyboard shortcuts for Microsoft Teams in Windows or the web app using a PC keyboard.

Please note that a plus sign (+) in a shortcut means that you need to press multiple keys at the same time. A comma sign (,) means that you need to press multiple keys in order.

Answer or manage incoming calls

When someone calls you in Teams, you can use shortcuts to respond straight away.

  • Answer a call – Press Ctrl + Shift + A.
  • Decline a call – Press Ctrl + Shift + D.
  • End a call – Press Ctrl + Shift + H.

Control your call

While you’re on a call, you can quickly manage your audio using your keyboard.

  • Mute or unmute your microphone – Press Ctrl + Shift + M.

Start a call using a shortcut

You can also start calls without selecting buttons on screen.
