What do I need to use Webex with my BT Cloud Voice service?

Once your Cloud Voice service is up and running, you’ll need a compatible desktop, mobile, or tablet:

  • Desktop – Windows 7 Service Pack 1 or later
  • Android – Nougat 7.0 or later
  • Apple MAC - (MacOS) 10.12 or later. Intel CPU or M1 Chip

How do I access the Business Portal?

Head over to What is the BT Cloud Voice Business Portal and how do I access it?. You’ll find all information you need.

How do I log in to the Webex app?

Click on the Webex icon on your device and enter your:

  1. Email address.
  2. Cloud Voice application username and password.

You’ll be asked to accept the terms and conditions the first time you login. You’ll also be shown an Emergency Service dialling notice.

Click OK to start using Webex.

Will the app remember my log in details?

If you click Exit on the desktop version, your log in details will be stored so that you won’t need to re-enter them next time you log in. It's similar in the mobile app; if you swipe to close the app, then your details will be remembered the next time you open it.

However, for security reasons, if you Sign Out (rather than exit), your log in details won’t be remembered. You’ll be asked for your email address and Cloud Voice application username and password when you next log in.

If you’ve forgotten these, you can find your username on the Cloud Voice portal, My Account page. You can reset your password there too, if needed.

How do I use Webex – is there a user guide?

You’ll have access to a variety of messaging, meeting and collaboration features as part of Webex depending on the licence you have.

This comprehensive guide lists the core Webex features and how to use them:

  • Don’t need a dial plan or routing reconfiguration.
  • Don’t need any additional MS license costs.

How do I integrate my Cloud Voice calling with MS Teams?

First, you’ll need your MS Teams administrator to enable the use of Webex integrations for end users.

Once this has been done, each end user can then install the Webex Calling app from the Apps tab.

Each user also needs to have an active Webex service to be able to integrate with MS Teams
