Configure your BT Versatility system to answer with different messages

If you’re using the Auto attendant or the courtesy features to answer your caller’s, you can record two different greetings. The night service feature will switch between the two greetings.

If you’re not using these features but need calls to be answered, you’ll need to use two voicemail boxes.

For example:

  • Day service calls could be programmed to go to a ring group 1. This ring group could have a divert on no answer to route to the group 1 voicemail.
  • When activating night service, these could be programmed to a ring group 2. This group could have a divert for all calls to route to group 2 voicemail.

You’d need to check both group 1 and 2 voicemail boxes for messages.
