BT Cloud Voice Calling Line ID and Anonymous Call Rejection

This BT Cloud Voice feature allows lets you to view the calling line ID information of another user on a different site (External) or someone on the same site (Internal). 

How do I set up Calling Line ID display?

  1. Sign in to the BT Cloud Voice Business Portal
  2. From the dashboard select Users (across the top).
  3. Search for the user and click the settings icon.
  4. Select Features on the left.
  5. To control Calling Line ID display on external calls, in the External Calling Line ID Delivery tile, click the settings icon and make sure the slider is set to on.
  6. To control Calling Line ID display on internal calls, in the Internal Calling Line ID Delivery tile, click the settings icon and make sure the slider is set to on.
  7. You can move the slider to toggle to off and on as needed. 

Blocking your Calling Line ID

You can block your Calling Line Identity (CLI) for all external calls or for individual external calls. People within your site will still be able to see your CLI. Simply, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to the BT Cloud Voice Business Portal.
  2. From the dashboard select Users (across the top).
  3. Search for the user and click the settings icon.
  4. Select Features on the left.
  5. In the Calling Line ID blocking tile, click the settings icon.
  6. Make sure the slider is set to on.
  7. You can move the slider to toggle to off and on as needed. 

Anonymous Call Rejection

If you prefer not to receive calls from people that have blocked their phone number (their Calling Line Identity), then Anonymous Call Rejection will be right up your street. Follow these steps to set it up:

  1. Sign in to the BT Cloud Voice Business Portal.
  2. From the dashboard select Users (across the top).
  3. Search for the user and click the settings icon.
  4. Select Features on the left.
  5. In the Anonymous call rejection tile, click the settings icon.
  6. Make sure the slider is set to on.
  7. You can move the slider to toggle to off and on as needed.
