Setting up your Yealink handset for Cloud Voice Express or factory reset the base station? If you see Unregistered! on your Yealink handset you’ll need to connect it to the base station.
You can register up to eight handsets to the base station. When you’ve registered your Yealink handsets, you can use Cloud Voice Express.
How to register your Yealink handset to the base station
- Press and hold the Paging button on the front of the base station until the phone light (the top one of the three lights on the front) is flashing.
- Then, when you see an Unregistered! message on the Yealink handset, press the soft Reg key.
- The handset will then go through a series of automated steps to register to the base station – so you’ll see these screens:
- Searching
- Easy Pairing
- Handset Subscribed
- Initialising Data
- The handset may update the firmware during registration. This can take up to 15 minutes.
- When the handset registers to the base station, you’ll see Handset [number] on screen. If this is the first Yealink handset you’ve registered, you’ll see Handset 1.
You’ve successfully registered your Yealink handset for Cloud Voice Express.
Follow these steps to register up to eight handsets to the base station. If you try to register more than eight handsets, the phone light on the front of the base station won’t flash when you press and hold Paging.
