Call sign allows you to assign an individual ring tone to calls from certain numbers.
We will give you an additional number for your phone, which will have a separate ringing tone when it is called. You can give your Call Sign number to as many callers as you choose. For example, you can use it to separate business calls or calls from fax machines.
I am not getting different ringing tones with Call Sign - what should I do?
Older types of telephones may not be capable of making different ring tones. Check whether your telephone has this facility. For further information, refer to your user guide.
If this fails, try another handset.
Note: Wireless DECT phones do not support distinctive ringing.
My Call Sign number is not ringing - what should I do?
- Do you rent the facility? Check a recent bill or check your bill online.
- Are you using the correct Call Sign number? Check a recent bill or check your bill online. If the numbers are different contact us.
- Is the main number ringing? If you have access to another line or a mobile, try ringing the main number to check that this is working. If it is ringing and all else is OK, please contact us to have the Call Sign number checked.
