Business Antivirus Protection for administrators
As an administrator, you can install Business Antivirus Protection to your own device, plus email your employees so they can install it on their device.
Install Business Antivirus Protection on your device
- Use your BT username to log in or sign up to My Account
- Go to Manage your services to find Business Antivirus Protection
- Select Manage settings and you’ll go to the McAfee My Account portal
- In the McAfee My Account portal, select the device type that you want to protect
- Select Download and accept the terms and conditions
- Note the serial number or activation code
- Open the McAfee software download file and follow the instructions to download
Email Business Antivirus Protection to your employees
- Use your BT username to log in or sign up to My Account
- Go to Manage your services to find Business Antivirus Protection
- Select Manage settings and you’ll go to the McAfee My Account portal
- In the McAfee My Account portal, select the device type that you want to protect
- Select Send link
- Enter the email address of the employee you want to install Business Antivirus Protection
- Select Email me
- Repeat steps 6 and 7 until you’ve emailed all the employees you need
Business Antivirus Protection for employees
First, your administrator needs to arrange for you to install Business Antivirus Protection. When you receive your installation link by email, you can protect your devices with these steps.
Install Business Antivirus Protection on Mac or PC
- Open the Welcome email from McAfee sent by your administrator
- Choose your device type and select Protect me
- Select Download and accept the licence agreement
- Note your activation code – you’ll need to enter it during installation
- Follow the on-screen instructions to install Business Antivirus Protection
Install Business Antivirus Protection on mobile
- Open the Welcome email from McAfee sent by your administrator
- Under Mobile Protection, select Protect me
- Note the serial number or activation code in case you need it during installation
- Select Download to automatically go to the Apple App Store or Google Play
- Follow the steps to install and set up the app
- Go through the welcome screens until you reach the McAfee sign-in screen showing your email
- Enter your password (or follow the steps to create a new password)
- When you enter your password, you’ll activate the app on your device

How to use Business Antivirus Protection
