With eSIM devices there’s no physical SIM card instead it’s embedded in your device virtually. So instead of inserting it you download it by scanning the QR code we send you.
Which devices use an eSIM?
Most newer iPhone models, Google devices, and Samsung devices are eSIM compatible.
eSIM compatible devices are dual SIM. This means you can either use an eSIM or a traditional SIM with them.

Getting an eSIM
If you’ve not already got an eSIM device, check out the eSIM devices we offer:
Setting up an eSIM
How you set up your eSIM depends on what device you have. When you’ve received your eSIM and QR code pack choose your device manufacturer:
You need to be in the UK to set up an eSIM. If you’re currently roaming, you’ll need to wait until you’re home to set it up.
Swapping over from a physical SIM to an eSIM
To swap over from a physical SIM to an eSIM, please contact us.
Just so that you’re aware, there may be a charge to swap over.
Transferring my current line over to an eSIM
When you've set up your eSIM, to transfer your line over to your new eSIM you’ll need to contact us.
You’ll need the SIM serial number that’s on your eSIM card pack.
Switching your existing number over to an eSIM
You can switch (port) your existing number from another provider over to us. Find out how to switch your number over.
I can't scan my QR code
If you can’t scan your QR code, don’t panic, you can setup up your eSIM manually. How you do this varies from device to device:

If something’s wrong with your eSIM please contact us.
Restoring your eSIM device
Your device's user guide will tell you what to do, or you can contact us.
If you restore your device yourself, make sure you select keep your data plan and don’t erase any downloaded SIM's, otherwise you’ll delete your eSIM.
If you’ve accidentally deleted your eSIM and erased your data plan, you'll need a new eSIM. Please contact us to arrange this.
eSIM card’s default PIN number
The default PIN number for an eSIM is 1111.
