Restricting the wireless devices that can connect to your Smart Hub 2

From the Hub Manager, go to Advanced settings , Wireless and then to MAC filtering.

You'll be able to restrict the devices that can connect wirelessly to your Hub, enhancing the security of your Hub's wireless network. The downside is that you'll have to modify the list each time you want to connect or block a new device.

There are three settings: None, Allow, and Deny.

  • None - the default setting.
  • Allow - only the devices you list can connect. No other devices will be able to connect even if they enter the correct wireless password.
  • Deny - all other devices can connect to your Hub except for the ones you add to the list.
