Number isn't showing in Teams Admin Centre in Operator Connect

If an Operator Connect number isn’t showing in the Teams Admin Centre, here are some common causes and how to fix them.

Number port is still pending
On the date of your number port, it can take between 1 and 24 hours for numbers to appear in Teams.
Solution:
- wait up to 24 hours from the port date
- check the number under Voice, then Phone numbers, then Operator Connect
- contact your account manager if the number still isn’t showing after 24 hours
User doesn’t have a Teams Phone licence
You’ll need to check whether the user has an active Teams Phone licence and assign one if it’s missing.
Solution:
To check if the user has an active licence
- Log in to Microsoft 365 Admin Centre, then select Active users.
- Select the user whose number is missing.
- Open Licenses and apps.
- Check whether Teams Phone (or a bundle that includes it, such as Microsoft 365 E5) is assigned.
To assign a Teams Phone licence
- In the same Licenses and apps section, locate Teams Phone.
- Tick the checkbox to assign the licence.
- Save your changes.
Number hasn’t been assigned
Solution:
Phone numbers need to be assigned to a user.

Emergency address is missing or not validated
Solution:
- check that an emergency address has been created and validated
- make sure it’s linked to the phone number
- contact BT to attach the address if needed
