What do you need help with?

Set up new users for Cloud Voice

As a BT Cloud Voice Administrator, you can create new users on the BT Cloud Voice Business Portal.

  1. Sign in to the BT Cloud Voice Business Portal.
  2. From the Dashboard, across the top, select Users.
  3. Select Create new user.
  4. Choose the access this user will need.
  5. Select the site that you wish to assign the user to, and fill out the remaining detail fields (you’ll only need to tick Portal Access if you’re creating an administrator).
  6. Click Continue.
  7. Next, select the licence required for this user, then press Continue.
  8. You can choose any add-on this user may need, then click Continue.
  9. From the drop-down menu, select the number you wish the user to have, then give them an extension number and fill out the Caller ID name - this name will show on  internal calls.
  10. Select Continue.
  11. Choose a device for the user, from the existing devices.
    • If this user will only be using Webex, you can select no device.
  12. Finally, select create user.

Troubleshooting new user set up

If you see this error message, it means you don't have any spare phone numbers and/or licenses.

Error message saying there are no numbers available on this site to create a service user. Please contact an admin.
