Series Completion for BT Cloud Voice and how to use it

With Series Completion for BT Cloud Voice, you can be sure that a group of users won’t miss any calls that come in to them.

If a User in the Series Completion group is busy, the Feature hunts for somebody that’s available, in the order you chose when you created the group, until an idle User is found or the end of the list is reached.

It’s a simplistic version of the Hunt Group Feature, with only one hunt option and a User is only allowed to be in one group, although your Site can have multiple Site Completion groups.

For this feature to work, you'll need to switch off the below for each user:

  • Call waiting
  • Calls to Voicemail when busy

How to set up Series Completion for BT Cloud Voice

  1. Sign in to the BT Cloud Voice Business portal.
  2. From the dashboard select your Site.
  3. Select Features on the left.
  4. In the Series completion tile, click the settings icon.
  5. Click Add group.
  6. Name the group and from the drop down select the users you wish to add.
  7. You can drag the user's name to move the position they are called in the group.
  8. Click Save.

If a person in the group is busy when a call comes in, the call will go to the next available person on the assigned users list.

How to remove users from Series Completion

It’s simple to remove a user from a Series Completion group. First follow the steps to add a user. Then beside the users name, you’ll see a Remove icon. Click this and they will disappear from the list. Finally click Save and you’ve removed a user from Series Completion.
