What happens if I cancel BT Business One Plan before the 24 month term is complete?

If you leave BT Business One Plan before the end of the contract term, you may not have reached your minimum committed spend. In that case, you are liable to a reconciliation fee. This is normally 20% of the difference between your actual spend to date and your committed spend under the plan.

What is a BT Business One Plan reconciliation fee?

What is annual stretch commitment?

Annual stretch commitment is the level of annual spend specified by your business, and is an amount between the current tier commitment and the next tier.

What are the call charges for BT Business One Plan Plus, after the hourly capped rates?

After the hourly capped rates, pence per minute (ppm) rates will apply. You'll find a complete list of up to date ppm prices for calls to UK landlines, mobiles and international destinations, in the BT Price List.

Which calls qualify for no extra call charges in BT Business One Plan Plus?

The following calls are free under BT Business One Plan Plus where these are to numbers within the One Plan Plus inventory:

  • Calls to 01 and 02 inland destinations
  • Calls to 05 numbers charged at G21 rates
  • Calls to 07 numbers charged at fm1 - fm12 rates
  • Calls from BT Mobiles, except if international roaming calls

Calls to numbers other than those shown in the inclusions list are not zero rated under One Plan Plus and are therefore chargeable, for example:

  • Calls to 03 number ranges
  • Calls to 05 numbers charged at G6 rates
  • Calls to 07 numbers charged at fw rates
  • Calls to or from BT Mobiles on service provider tariffs on the O2 network
  • Calls made using BT Wi-fi hotspots
  • 3G data calls to mobile destinations

Roamed received charges are also not zero rated on calls to international roaming mobiles.

What does 'intra-business calls' mean?

Intra-business calls refer to calls between your own fixed, BT Mobile and VOIP lines. There are no call charges for the first 60 minutes. Usage beyond 60 minutes is charged at standard BT Business One Plan Plus prices.

To qualify, these numbers must be included in your BT Business One Plan Plus inventory.

What is the BT Business One Plan Plus Fair Usage Policy?

We have a Fair Usage Policy for calls where we have a 'Capped Call' price: for each calendar month, you can use an average of four hours of Capped Calls each day from any one of your BT lines to any other number.

You can also benefit from our free intra-business calls. Here, you get an average of four hours of free calls each day, from any one line to any one number in your 'inventory' (those are the numbers that you've included in your 'calling circle').

You can use more than the daily average of Capped Calls or intra-business calls: we'll charge the extra calls at our 'pence per minute' rates, which you can find in the BT Price List.

The total of your intra-business zero-rated calls must not exceed 75% of your total BT Business One Plan Plus minutes.

Which calls qualify for no extra call charges?

With this plan, the following calls are free, where they're to numbers within your One Plan Plus Inclusive inventory:

  • Calls to 01 and 02 inland destinations
  • Calls to 05 numbers charged at G21 rates
  • Calls to 07 numbers charged at fm1 - fm12 rates
  • Calls from BT Mobiles, except if international roaming calls

Are there limits on the intra-business calls?

Intra-business calls don't incur call charges for the first hour. If a call lasts more than an hour, then the extra time spent on that call is charged at the pence per minute (ppm) call rates. This applies to both fixed and mobile calls.

You can have an average of four hours calling per day, of zero rated intra-business calls, from any one line, to any one number, in your inventory throughout each calendar month. Usage above this level is charged at ppm prices. This applies to both fixed and mobile calls.

What is the BT Business One Plan Plus Inclusive Fair Usage Policy?

Customers can benefit from our free intra-business calls. You'll get an average of four hours of free calls each day from any one line to any one number in your 'inventory' (those are the numbers that you've included in your 'calling circle').

You can use more than the daily average of intra-business calls; we'll charge the extra calls at our BT Business One Plan 'pence per minute' rates, which you can find in our Price List.

With the Call Package

Our Call Package also includes a monthly call allowance for each line (or channel, if you're an ISDN customer) of -

  • 5000 free Inland and International Direct Dial minutes
  • 500 free 'fixed to mobile' minutes

Without the Call Package

If you don't take our Call Package, you will still get an Inclusive Call Allowance that includes -

  • 200 free Local/National/0845/0870 minutes

The Inclusive Call Allowance doesn't include calls to mobile numbers and you must make at least one chargeable call each calendar month.

You can use more minutes than are in your call allowance; we'll start charging you for calls from the next calendar day until the end of the calendar month. All the charges and details are in our Price List.

What does 'capped' mean in relation to BT Business One Plan Traditional?

Capped means that a call does not cost you more than a set amount.

For calls within the UK, this applies to 01, 02 and 03 numbers only. It excludes mobile and non-geographic numbers (0845, 0870, Internet and premium rate numbers) as well as fax and data transmissions.

Yes, we have a Fair Usage Policy for calls where we have a 'Capped Call' price: for each calendar month, you can use an average of four hours of Capped Calls each day from any one of your BT lines to any other number. You can use more than the daily average of Capped Calls; we'll charge the extra calls at our BT Business One Plan Traditional 'pence per minute' rates, which you can find in the BT Price List.

What does 'capped' mean with BT Business One Plan Traditional Inclusive?

It means that a call won't cost you more than a set amount, for up to an hour. For calls within the UK, this applies to 01, 02 and 03 numbers only. It excludes calls to mobiles, (unless you are taking the landline-to-mobiles calls option), and to non-geographic numbers (0845, 0870, Internet and premium rate numbers), as well as fax and data transmissions.
