If you've ordered Digital Voice for Business and asked us to port your existing geographic phone number from another provider, you may be eligible for our Port-In Credit.
Once your number has been successfully ported, we'll automatically apply a credit equivalent to 14 days of eligible recurring Digital Voice for Business package charges.

What is the Port-In Credit?
When you start using Digital Voice for Business, we'll initially give you a new phone number so you can start using your service straight away.
If you've asked us to port an existing geographic phone number from another provider, it can take some time for the port to complete.
The Port-In Credit recognises this period by giving eligible customers a credit equivalent to 14 days of recurring Digital Voice for Business package charges.
The credit is fixed at 14 days, regardless of how long your number takes to port.
Am I eligible for the Port-In Credit?
The Port-In Credit applies when:
- You've ordered a new Digital Voice for Business service.
- You're porting eligible geographic phone numbers to BT from another provider for the first time.
- Your number port completes successfully.
The credit only applies to your initial number port request as part of your new Digital Voice for Business order.
If you ask us to port additional numbers later, these won't be eligible for the credit unless we've told you otherwise.
How much credit will I receive?
You'll receive a credit equivalent to 14 days of eligible recurring charges for the Digital Voice for Business user packages included in your order.
You'll receive the same 14-day credit regardless of how long it takes to complete your number port.
What does the Port-In Credit cover?
The credit only applies to eligible recurring Digital Voice for Business user package charges.
It doesn't cover:
- Call usage charges.
- Additional numbers.
- Add-on services.
- Value Added Services (VAS).
- Equipment or hardware.
- Expert Setup services.
- One-off charges.
- Any other charges that aren't part of your recurring Digital Voice for Business package fee.
Do I need to apply for the credit?
No. We'll apply the credit automatically once your number has been successfully ported to BT.
When will I receive my credit?
Your credit will appear on the first bill we issue after your number has been successfully ported.
It'll be shown as a promotional discount or credit on your bill.
What happens if my number isn't successfully ported?
We can only apply the Port-In Credit once your number has been successfully ported.
If the port doesn't complete, you won't receive the credit.
You'll also need to keep your Digital Voice for Business service active until your number has been successfully ported. If your service ends before the port completes, you won't be eligible for the credit.
Can I receive the credit as cash or a refund?
No. The Port-In Credit:
- Has no cash value.
- Can't be exchanged for cash.
- Can't be transferred to another account or service.
- Can only be applied as a credit to your bill.
Which phone numbers are eligible?
The Port-In Credit applies to eligible UK geographic phone numbers that you're porting to Digital Voice for Business from another provider as part of your qualifying first port request.
UK geographic numbers start with 01 or 02.
