How do I find a user’s Webex login details?

  1. Log in to the Digital Voice for Business portal.
  2. From the Dashboard, select Users.
  3. From the list of users, select the user you need to find the log in details for.
  4. On the left, select Applications.
  5. Scroll down to the Application login credentials section, which will have the user’s Webex email ID. This is the email address they’ll need to use when logging in.
  6. If you don't know the password, select Change password and follow the instructions.

How do I change a user's Webex password?

  1. Sign in to the Digital Voice for Business portal.
  2. From the Dashboard, select Users.
  3. From the list of users select the user you want to change the Webex password for.
  4. On the left select Applications.
  5. You will see the Application login credentials tab; Click Change password and create a new password that you would like to use to log in to Webex.
  6. Click Save.
  7. You can now log in to Webex app using the new password.

How do I change the email address a user uses to log in to Webex?

  1. Log in to the Digital Voice for Business portal.
  2. From the Dashboard, select Users.
  3. From the list of users, select the user that you want to change the Webex username for.
  4. On the left, select Applications.
  5. Scroll down to the Application login credentials section. Tap Change email ID and update the email address the user will use to log in to Webex..
  6. Tap Save

Please note that this may take a few minutes before you can login to the app with this new ID.

 

Webex user FAQs

How do I log in to the Webex app?

If you’ve already started using Webex after following the steps in our Webex setup guide, or someone else set things up for you, you can log in to the application you previously downloaded on your desktop, tablet or mobile. You’ll just need to enter your email address and password.

How do I update my Webex login details?

You can update your Webex login details in the Applications tab in the Digital Voice for Business portal, as long as you have portal access. If you do not have access, you will need to ask an administrator to do it for you.

Can I use the ‘Connect to a device’ feature to connect Webex to my Digital Voice for Business phone?

No – this feature works for Webex devices only, such as Cisco Webex Board, Webex Desks, or Room Devices. 

These devices are not supplied or supported as part of the Digital Voice for Business service. The ‘connect to a device’ feature does not let you connect to Digital Voice for Business phones.

What does the Webex Integration with Microsoft Teams let me do?

The Webex Integration with Microsoft Teams lets you make calls through Digital Voice for Business from within the Microsoft Teams interface.

How do I integrate my Digital Voice for Business service with Microsoft Teams?

Your Microsoft admin must accept use of the Cisco Call application on Teams for your organisation.

Once accepted, you’ll be able to set up and use the integration yourself.
