Set up Company and Group Contacts for Cloud Voice
In Cloud Voice, administrators can create lists of contacts that everyone can use.
For users to have access to the Company Contacts and Group Contacts created by the administrators, each user will need to have Phone Services set up and Phone Directory switched on. You can do this at both site level and employee level.
How to create Company Contacts for Cloud Voice
- Sign in to the BT Cloud Voice Business Portal.
- From the Dashboard, scroll down to the Directories panel and click Add directory.
- Select the Site you want to build it on, followed by the Create directory
- Enter the requested information.
- For help, close the draw down to return to the main Company contacts page and tap the Assist me button to open a help article in a new tab.
How to create Group Contacts for Cloud Voice
- Sign in to the BT Cloud Voice Business Portal.
- From the Dashboard select the required site from the Sites, admins and users panel.
- Select Features from the left-hand menu.
- Select Group contacts.
- Enter the requested information.
- For help tap the Assist me button to open a help article in a new tab.

How to set up individual users to use contacts
- Sign in to the BT Cloud Voice Business Portal.
- From the Dashboard, select the Users
- From the Users list select who you want to allow to use contacts.
- Select Features from the left-hand sidebar menu.
- Select Phone services.
- Enter the requested information.
- For help tap the Assist me button to open a help article in a new tab.
