Avoid missing calls if a Cloud Voice phone is out of service (User Intercept)
With User Intercept, you can take a BT Cloud Voice phone number out of service and give a message to anyone who calls it, or route the call to another number.
- Sign in to the BT Cloud Voice Business portal
- Select the ‘Employee’ menu
- Select ’Features’ from the menu on the left hand side
- Select ‘User Intercept’ and then ‘User Intercept’
- Select ‘Configure’
- Check the ‘Intercept All Incoming Calls’ box
- To give callers a message with an alternative number to dial, check the ‘Play New Telephone Number’ and enter the new number in the ‘New Phone Number’ box
- To give callers an option to transfer to a different number, check ‘Transfer On ‘0’ and enter the number you want to transfer calls to
- Check ‘Use Personal Announcement’ to upload a personal announcement rather than using the system default
