Call Notify for BT Cloud Voice and how to use it

Call Notify is a Cloud Voice feature you can use if you have a Collaborate or Connect licence.

With Call Notify, you can get an email if you receive a call from a particular phone number. This is useful if you want to track calls from certain numbers at certain times, and want an alert if they call.

 

How to set up Call Notify for Cloud Voice

  1. Log in to the BT Cloud Voice portal
  2. Select Employees and choose your user
  3. Select Features from the left-hand menu
  4. Find Call Notify and select Configure
  5. Enter the address to receive alerts in Send to this email
  6. Select Save
  7. Select Add
  8. Enter a description to help you manage your Call Notify options
  9. Select a Time Schedule to set when you receive Call Notify emails How to set a Time Schedule
  10. If you Save now, you’ll receive email notifications from all phone numbers. To receive emails only when certain numbers call, select Save & Add More Details
  11. Select Only these numbers
  12. Tick the boxes if you want to receive emails if you’re called by Private Numbers or Unknown Numbers
  13. Enter the numbers you want to trigger email notifications in Add Phone Number
  14. Select +
  15. Select Save

You’ve set up Call Notify for Cloud Voice, and will now receive emails whenever your chosen numbers call during your chosen times.
