Call Notify for BT Cloud Voice and how to use it

Call Notify is a Cloud Voice feature you can use if you have a Collaborate or Connect licence.

With Call Notify, you can get an email if you receive a call from a particular phone number. This is useful if you want to track calls from certain numbers at certain times, and want an alert if they call.

How to set up Call Notify for Cloud Voice

  1. Sign in to the BT Cloud Voice Business Portal.
  2. From the dashboard select Users (across the top).
  3. Search for the user and click the settings icon.
  4. Select Features on the left.
  5. In the Call notify tile, click the settings icon.
  6. Click Add email then entre the email address you want call notifications to go to then click Save.
  7. Click Add rule.
  8. Name the rule and apply a time schedule - see below for how to set a schedule up, if you need help with this.
  9. Click Continue.
  10. Select All phone numbers to get a notification for all calls that come in to this user or select Selected phone numbers.
  11. If you selected, Selected phone numbers, enter the number you wish to be notified of - you can add up to twelve numbers. You can also tick the box to be notified of Private numbers and Unknown numbers.
  12. Click Save.

How to set up a time schedule?

  1. Sign in to the BT Cloud Voice Business Portal.
  2. From the Dashboard, select Sites.
  3. Select the site for which you wish to create a schedule.
  4. Select Features from the left-hand menu.
  5. In the Schedules tile click on the settings icon.
  6. You’ll now see any available schedules that you’ve already set up.
  7. Select Edit on an existing schedule to change it, or use Add schedule to create a new one.
