Using a headset with your Cloud Voice Express desk phone (Cisco 6861)
Here’s some handy information if you want to use a headset with your Cloud Voice Express desk phone (Cisco 6861).
You’ll need to use a supported headset
There are four headsets that are compatible with the Cisco 6861 desk phone. These include:
- Plantronics Savi 740
- Jabra Pro 920
- Jabra Pro 9400
- Sennheiser DW Pro1.
Please follow the instructions provided by each manufacturer to connect with your desk phone.
If you’re using the Jabra 920 Pro headset
- Use the clear dial tone wheel on the back of the base to optimise the headset’s audio.
- When your desk phone is ringing, you can answer the call by pressing the headset button on the desk phone itself, but the call will take place on the actual headset.
- When your desk phone is idle, press the headset button on it to hear the dial tone through your headset.
