Connecting to your Mitel MN3300 system

Before you can connect to your system you need to connect your PC to the system and you need to know the System IP Address.

Setting up your phone and PC to connect to your MN3300 system

If you have a Mitel 5320, 5330, 5340, 5360 phone you’ll need to enable PC connectivity. To do this:

  1. Press the blue Superkey button on the phone.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Using the left & right arrow keys, press the right arrow key so you move to page 2/2.
  4. Select PC Connectivity.
  5. Press the button next to enable: you should see a tick in the box to confirm it's selected.
  6. Press the Save button.
  7. To exit press Close until your back to the home screen.

If you have a Mitel 5312 or 5324 phone the PC port should be automatically enabled but if it isn't, try this:

  1. Press and hold the Up and Down scroll arrows together.
  2. Release the Down arrow and while still holding the Up arrow, press 2, 3, 4.
  3. On the menu that appears select Yes for Network Parameters.
  4. Select Yes for View Current Values.
  5. Scroll to Phone IP Address: AAA.BBB.CCC.DDD
  6. Scroll to the Exit Menu and select Yes.
  7. Answer No to each entry until you get to Tools and Features, then select Yes.
  8. Scroll to Task Bar Setup and select Yes.
  9. Select Change to enable, then 0 to confirm and # to accept.
  10. Set the password.
  11. Save changes and reboot.

When PC connectivity has been enabled you can now attach an Ethernet cable from the PC's Ethernet port and the PC labelled port on the back of your Mitel IP Phone.

To confirm you have an IP address:

  1. Hold down the Windows symbol key and letter R key together on your keyboard. Type in the Open field CMD and click OK.
  2. When the command window opens type IPCONFIG, press enter.
  3. You should now see an IP Address that is similar to your phones IP Address.
  4. You can now connect to the system and do your housekeeping.

How do I get my system IP address from my MN3300 featurephone?

To get your IP address from any of your MN3300 featurephones:

  1. Hold the Up arrow key.
  2. Then hold the Down arrow key.
  3. Release the Up arrow key.
  4. Dial 234 and release the Down arrow key.
  5. You should see Network Parameters. Press * = Yes. Press # = No.
  6. Press * = Yes.
  7. You should see View Current Values.
  8. Press * = Yes.
  9. Using the Up and Down keys, scroll Down.
  10. Look for CUR Controller IP:
    The IP address shown here is the IP address of your system.
  11. Press the Exit key.
  12. Now press # = No until you see Exit.
  13. Press * = Yes.

You’re now ready to connect to your Mitel MN3300 system.

Connect to your MN3300 system

  1. Open Internet Explorer and type the IP address into the address bar and press Enter.
  2. Click on Continue to this website (not recommended) when you see "There is a problem with this website's security certificate".
  3. At the Mitel Login Screen, enter your details and click Log In.
  4. Select which tool you want to use.
