Setting up a conference call

The conference facility on the BT Quantum allows you to hold a three-way conversation between:

• three extensions, or
• two extensions and an Exchange Line, or
• two exchange Lines and an extension
  

To hold a conference call

If you are on an internal or external call and wish to call an external number to join the conference:

1. Scroll down and select External conference.
2. Select a free line and dial the external number.
3. When the call is answered select Conference on the display.

If you are on an external call and wish to call an internal number to join the conference:

1. Scroll down and select Internal conference.
2. Select the extension.
3. When the call is answered select Conference on the display.

From a standard telephone:

1. Press the R button when on a call.
2. Make the second call.
3. When it is answered, dial R3 for all parties to join the conference.
