Enabling bridge mode on your BT Business Smart Hub 2 is easy, here's what you need to do:
- On a computer connected to your Hub, enter http://btbusinesshub.home or 192.168.1.254
- From the page that loads, click on Advanced Settings
- Enter your Admin password if prompted (on the base of your Hub) and click Ok. If it doesn't accept the admin password, click on Hint (If there's a hint, then a custom password has been setup - enter this and click on Ok)
- Click Continue to Advanced Settings
- Choose the Broadband tab, then click on the Routing tab
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page to Bridging
- Tick Yes next to Enabled
- Click Yes on the next screen to finish the process
Your BT Business Smart Hub 2 should now be in bridge mode. You'll now need to change the settings on your other router to use connection type PPPoA for ADSL connections and PPPoE for fibre connections. Depending on the hub you're bridging to, you may need to enter your broadband connection details on your other non-BT router.
