Enhanced IT Support

Enhanced IT Support is like having your own IT helpdesk on call 24 hours a day. As long as you have internet access, our IT experts can take control of your PC remotely. Most problems can be fixed in this manner, without the need to come on site.

Enhanced IT Support includes:

  • support for up to 5 PCs/laptops
  • virus removal
  • reinstallation and upgrades of your operating system
  • optional support for your smartphones and tablet.
     

Who can order Enhanced IT Support?

You don’t need to be a BT customer to order Enhanced IT Support. It’s available to anyone who gets their broadband or fibre from a UK-based internet service provider (ISP).

If you have a problem with a router, modem or hub, or with software or hardware that was not supplied by us we can still support you.

Please note: we only cover Microsoft-compatible software.
 

Ordering Enhanced IT support

If you’re a BT Business broadband and fibre customer, you can order Enhanced IT Support online. For everyone else, please call the team on 0800 500 247. If you need any more information, please visit the Enhanced IT Support page.

Using leading–edge technology, one of our computer experts can take control of your PC to fix your problem without needing to visit your business premises.

If we can’t fix your computer without visiting your premises, for an extra charge we’ll send a computer expert straight to your door.

What is not covered by Enhanced IT Support Server?

We don’t cover Apple Macintosh, Linux and other software. The software must be Microsoft compatible.

This service is diagnostic and remote assistance only. We’ll not replace broken hardware (for example, if your computer breaks down and it’s a hardware or software flaw then advice will be given on how to get it fixed maybe by workarounds patches, updates and in the majority of cases a solution will be found for you).
