Receiving a 'transaction failed' message when renewing a domain

When you use the BT Domains Centre to renew your domain, you may possibly receive a message stating 'Transaction failed with bank'.

This doesn’t mean you need to contact your bank immediately. If your domain has expired, we suggest you renew using the backup renewal page. Please note, the backup renewal function will only work when the domain has expired and will not work before.

If you see the 'Transaction failed with bank' message in BT Domains Centre and can't renew your domain using the backup page, please contact us

If you have an active billing account with BT Business, we can renew the domain(s) on your behalf and request the renewal charges be added to your next bill.
