Ordering a domain name on an existing account

To place an order for a new domain name, just:

1. Sign in to Manage services
2. In the Domains section, click on the Manage your Domain name(s) link.
3. In the BT Domain Centre pop up window, click on the Search tab.
4. Enter the domain name you want to order and hit the Search button.
5. Available domain names are displayed with a checkbox and a green tick.
6. Check the box next to the domain names you want to order.
7. Enter how long you want to register it for in the Term years list — the price updates automatically (any free domains you’re eligible for are displayed with £0.00. You can’t select or change these domains as they’re automatically renewed by us).
8. Click Continue.
9. Check the information listed here is accurate.
10. Enter your payment details (if required).
11. Click on place order to confirm your order.

You’ll receive immediate confirmation about whether your domain registration was successful. It can take up to 60 minutes for you to be able to activate hosting or set up email addresses using your new domain name.
