Downloading the alert client to handle calls from your computer

You'll need administrator rights to your computer to download and install the alert client.

First head to the BT One Phone portal (if it's your first visit you'll need to register and create a password).

1. Enter your username and password.
2. Click on Call Settings in the portal.
3. Select the Download tab in the menu bar.
4. Click on Download and follow the on-screen instructions.
5. An alert client icon appears on your desktop when the installation has been successful.
6. Double click on the icon, enter your username and password and hit Log in.

You only need to complete this process the once.
