Frequently asked questions
Why did BT Business move away from CPI+3.9% price increases to a pounds and pence approach?
This approach provides our small business customers with more certainty. Customers will know exactly how much they’ll pay each year of their contract before they sign up.
How can I find out what my price increase will be?
The level of price increase will be communicated to you in your pre contract document you receive when signing up for our services. You can also find details of the increases by visiting BT Price List.
Does the price increase amount include VAT?
No – the amount stated in your pre contract document excludes VAT.
Why am I still receiving a CPI+3.9% price increase?
Customers on existing CPI+3.9% contracts will continue to receive price increases as outlined in their terms and conditions. New or re-signing customers will receive the new pounds and pence price increase. This will be made clear to you in your pre contract document.
When do prices increase?
Prices for BT Business increase from 1 April each year.
Why do you increase your prices?
Whether it’s through your mobile or broadband service, it’s more important than ever to keep everyone and everything connected. Our annual price change helps us continue to invest to bring you a better, more reliable experience and the best value for your money. It’s also important as our own costs continue to increase, so the price change means we can continue to maintain the best networks and provide customer service in more ways than ever before.
As a company we’re dedicated to keeping our customers connected. We’re also committed to helping those who need it most – this is why we’ve frozen prices for customers across our BT Home Essentials, EE Mobile Basics, PAYG and BT Basic plans.
