It’s easy to get everything up and running, just follow the step-by-step instructions.
Engineer visit
If you’ve got an engineer coming to set-up your broadband, it’s even easier and you can sit back and relax. Just have your Hub ready for when they arrive.
If you’ve ordered a Hybrid Connect device then you can get connected and online straight away without waiting for your broadband being activated. Just plug in your hub and add your device as shown on the packaging or read the setting up Hybrid Connect page.
How to install it yourself:
1. Remove your old hub
If you have one, switch off and unplug your existing hub before installing your new Business Smart Hub 2.

2. Check your phone socket
Use the master phone socket to make sure you get the best broadband connection.

3. Plug your hub into your phone socket
Plug one end of your broadband cable (the one with the grey ends) into your new hub and the other into the master socket or filter (if you're using one).

- Use the broadband cable with grey ends.
 - Only use the plug that comes with your hub.

4. Switch on your Hub
Using the power button on the back of the hub, switch it on.

5. Wait for a solid blue light
When you see this, your hub is ready. It can take a few minutes, so why not make yourself a cuppa in the meantime?

6. Scan the QR code
Scan the square code on the back of your hub to automatically enter your network and admin passwords, or, do it manually if you prefer.
