How do I pay my BT Business bill?

Choose the way to pay a bill that suits you best.

Pay by Direct Debit

Set up a Direct Debit with your UK bank or building society. Your bills look after themselves, as long as funds are in your account.

Pay by Direct Debit using a sole signatory bank account

To set up a Direct Debit using an account held by one person:

  1. Log in to My Account
  2. Select Billing in the task bar then Billing Overview.
  3. Select Pay Bills, then from the dropdown menu select Pay by Direct Debit.
  4. Choose the billing account(s) you want to set up Direct Debit for, and select Next.
  5. Enter your bank or building society details.
  6. Select Confirm to complete your Direct Debit set up.

Pay by Direct Debit using a non sole signatory bank account

To set up a Direct Debit using an account that requires more than one signature to authorise payment:

  1. Log in to My Account
  2. Select Billing in the task bar then Billing overview.
  3. Select Pay Bills, then from the dropdown menu select Pay by Direct Debit.
  4. Choose the billing account(s) you want to set up Direct Debit for, scroll down and select Non sole signatory, then select Next.
  5. Check the billing address shown for the selected account(s) is correct, then select Confirm to complete your Direct Debit set up request.
  6. Because more than one signature is needed to authorise payments from the bank account you're using for Direct Debit, we'll post a Direct Debit instruction for the other signatories to complete. Your Direct Debit will be set up once we receive the completed signed instructions back.

Pay online in My Account

With My Account, pay by credit or debit card. Or (if you're set up to do so) by Apple Pay or Google Pay. Make a full or part payment of as many bills as you like, even across accounts, in one quick, simple transaction.

Here’s how:

  1. Log in to My Account
  2. Select Billing in the task bar, then Billing overview.
  3. Select Pay bills, then Pay by card.
  4. Select the bill(s) you want to pay.
  5. Confirm the bill amounts (which will default to the full bill amount for the selected bill, this can be overtyped for a partial payment).
  6. Check the total amount to be paid for the selected bill(s) and bill amounts. Confirm total.
  7. Select the payment method by clicking the Google Pay or Apple Pay logos for digital wallet payments or entering the card details for a debit/credit card payment. Select Pay now.
  8. Your payment information will be verified and confirmation of the transaction (success or re-try) will be given.
