How do I know if I am set up for Calling Abroad?
If you haven't called abroad before or you can't make calls from the UK to a foreign number, you may have restrictions on your account. You can manage these in your BT Mobile Manager account or speak to our team using the contact details at the bottom of the page.

With BT - IDD Extra packages:
- You get an additional allowance for IDD calling on top of a standard price plan for an additional monthly fee on a single customer, per subscription basis.
- All Extras have a 1 month minimum term and remain active on your account until they're removed. Allowances do not rollover.
- Extras can be applied in multiples or stacked up to 5 times if required.
- Calls made to other countries when roaming outside of the UK are not included in the allowances.

Can I use IDD Extra packages when I'm roaming?
No, you can't. They only apply to calls you make from the UK to our Europe, Business and World Zones. Visit our Roaming page for more information on travelling abroad and available add-ons.
What will I be charged if I receive a call from a foreign number?
You won't be charged for receiving a call from a foreign number, but you may be charged if you call that number back and don't have a call allowance to call countries outside the UK.
