How do I connect to my BT Mini Hub?

Here’s what you need to do to get connected:

  1. Switch on your BT Mini Hub and wait for it to connect to the network.
  2. In the Wi-Fi settings menu on your device, look for the name of your Mini Hub (it’s on the password card that comes with it).
  3. Click Connect and enter your Mini Hub password (also on the password card) to get yourself connected.

There’s also the Meet your Mini Hub booklet with step-by-step instructions that you can refer to.

Can I go over my data allowance?

Yes, you can. If your monthly allowance runs, we'll give you an extra 500MB of data for £5 and send you a text to let you know. If this happens 10 times in the same billing cycle, then we'll cap your data usage. If this happens regularly, chat to one of our team on WhatsApp and we'll help you find a plan that’s better suited to your data usage.

How do I cap my data allowance?

You can apply a Spend Cap to any mobile broadband plan purchased on or after 1st October 2018. This lets you choose to limit how much you spend on top of your monthly plan. It’s a simple way for you to take control of your charges and make sure there are no alarms and no surprises.

Can I use my Mini Hub abroad?

You can use your data allowance in 48 European destinations at no extra cost. If you’re travelling outside of these destinations, your BT Mini Hub and SIM won't be able to connect to a network to use data.

If you have an Unlimited Data plan, there’s a 50GB Fair Use Policy whilst roaming in the EU.
