How do I cancel a BT One Phone account?

We'll be really sorry to see you go - just call us on 0345 154 8844 and we'll sort everything for you. We'll need to ask you some questions to verify your identity, so please have your account number with you when you call.

If you've been having any problems, there may be a simple solution - a quick chat with us could solve any issues with your services.

If you'd prefer to write to us, you'll need to include your name, address, account number and mobile number to cancel a mobile account.

As we may need to speak to you, you'll also need to give us your daytime contact number.

Once we've received your letter in our office, we aim to respond within 48 hours.

Still in your minimum period?

If you're ending your contract whilst still in a minimum period, you'll have to pay an early termination or minimum revenue charge. Full details of any early termination charges can be found in your terms and conditions.

If your minimum period has expired

You'll need to give us at least the minimum notice set out in your contract.
