BT Analyst Elite

BT Analyst Elite (BTAE) is a software package that runs on SQL Server. It’s free of charge to BT Business OneBill customers, and lets you view the details of your monthly BT bill through a wide variety of reporting features.

Through these reports, you can check the basic summarised details of your bill or view more detailed information on any aspect of the bill.

What type of reports are available?

There are three categories of report:

  • Summary Reports – View reports on usage, one-off charges and credits, recurring charges, adjustments and discounts.

  • Itemised Reports – Reports detailing the calls in the bill.  Identify the most expensive calls made, the most frequent call destinations, calls to or from specific numbers, telemarketing calls, calls to Directory Enquiries, and a host of other targeted reports.

  • Private Circuit Reports – View reports dedicated to your Private Circuits. Individual reports cover each charge type, e.g. Network, Equipment or Maintenance charges. You can also view reports on each specific Circuit, Account-level charges, Part and Broken Rentals, and many others.

What else can BT Analyst Elite do?

Filtering reports – Filtering of reports also allows you to focus on specific aspects of your bill, including individual charge types, date ranges, details and charges for specific handsets/numbers, call types and cost/duration brackets.

Cost comparison – The costs contained in one bill can be compared with another.

Trending reports – Trending reports allow you to monitor how costs have risen or fallen over time.

Flexible report formats – Report options include the ability to output to Excel, CSV file or printer.

Cost Centre structures – Cost Centre structures can be created within BT Analyst Elite that can then be applied to each bill to see how costs are distributed, for example, according to company structure or services contracted.

User Management Facility – A User Management facility allows you to create multiple users, which can then be set up to allow access to specific parts of your Cost Centre structure, enabling localised monitoring of costs and usage.

BT Analyst Elite also includes various other management facilities and programs:

Management Facilities:

  • Phone book – assign names to any numbers for display on reports.
  • Inter-Site Management – identify and name numbers within company sites, allowing analysis of call traffic between sites.

Programs:

  • Bespoke Report Generator – create your own reports, using any filters you choose, which can then be saved and run against any bills. Outputs reports as CSV or Microsoft Excel files.
  • Scheduler – select multiple reports from BT Analyst Elite, and include them in a single batch that may be run in one go, at any point in time, against any bills you choose. Automatically output these reports to CSV, Excel or a printer. Alternatively set up a distribution list for automatic email to your chosen recipients.
