Finding your broadband phone number or service ID

The easiest way to find this is to look at your order confirmation letter or email. We will have included the number when we confirmed your broadband order.

If you don’t have your order confirmation to hand, here’s how to find the phone number for your broadband.

  1. Unplug your broadband cable from the phone socket or ADSL micro-filter it’s plugged into.
  2. Plug a phone into where you unplugged your broadband.
  3. Dial 17070 from the phone and an automated service will tell you the phone number for your broadband line.

If you have a FTTP (fibre to the premises) product, then this won’t have a phone number associated with it. Instead, it has a 06 number assigned to it as it’s service ID.

To identify the service ID for a FTTP circuit have a look at the order confirmation information we sent when you placed your order. You can also:

  1. Log in to My Account.
  2. Select the Services tab at the top of the screen.
  3. Each of the services you have against this account will be displayed.
  4. Against each broadband service the account has the service ID number, starting 06, will be listed.
